My Legal Cashier Ltd provides legal bookkeeping and other accounting & finance services to law firms and sole practitioners.
We are a team of experienced legal cashiers and accountants who specialise in legal accounts. Our client base varies from private client firms to legal aid firms. Many of our legal aid clients hold franchises in Crime, Family, and Housing. Clients are assigned a dedicated member of experienced legal cashier team; each cashier is supervised by a Chartered Certified Accountant to ensure efficient and accurate handling of your legal bookkeeping and reporting requirements. Our legal cashiers provide off-site cashier support and are always available to meet in person.
They ensure that your accounts comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules, LSC & HMRC guidelines. Our legal cashiers are well trained on majority of the legal accounting softwares in the market. We send you a standard set of reports at the end of each month to satisfy The Solicitors’ Account Rules including reconciliations, default report & list of client balances for you to sign.
The reports also include P&L, fee earning and other performance analysis. We also send you a detailed set of year end reports which show firm’s performance and other reports that can be passed onto to your reporting accountant for audit and accounts. We can help you with clearing backlog of postings, software solution advice, implementing modern accounting procedures, payroll, professional indemnity renewal, detailed management reports, bookkeeping review, rectifying historical postings, pre & post SRA Investigation assistance, management accounts, budgeting & cash flow forecasts. We can also prepare and provide all the financial figures, accounts and reports required for LSC Specialist Quality Mark and Lexcel accreditation.
